I think I’m gonna Puke….
I can think of several founding men of this country that I am sure just rolled over in their graves.

A liquid pencil
The Sharpie liquid pencil « Quo Vadis Blog
The idea, one gathers, is that it’s initially erasable, then becomes permanent with time. How much time is unclear; some sources are saying 24 hours, others give you up to three days. (“But unlike a Sharpie permanent marker, you will always be able to erase it to some degree,” according to a company update.)

Damn the 80s were cool
Thats innovation right there.

Despite being a fairly early model, the WM-10 was the smallest of
all the cassette-playing Walkman models. Its tiny size is amazing even
now, and represents a considerable achievement in the context of what
was possible in the early 80’s. The WM-10 was smaller even than the
cassette it played and had to be slid open to make the cassette
compartment large enough to take the tape. This of course meant that it
became considerably larger before it was useful. Such practical
shortcomings miss the point of the WM-10 however, as its main function
was to demonstrate Sony’s continuing technical leadership by producing
yet another “world’s smallest” product.

Bluetooth Cassette Tape Adapter?
Having said that, I prefer cassettes in the car and at home most of the time, especially to CDs... MP3 ties with cassette a lot of the time though...
And I like the bluetooh on my phone for transfering ring tones... So, yes I am holding a double standard against my above statement.
Sue me.

12480
Go to the link and look at the images too...
Trust me.
If it sounds a little complicated here, then you need to see the pics.
Amazingly enough though, I think I understand about 90% of it, and if
I was still in practice with directly expressing in binary, I'd give learning it a shot.
12480 - an alphanumeric writing system
12480 was designed in 2002 by Bradley Tetzlaff from Waukesha, Wisconsin, USA. It was invented for both use in a computer game named Ecclemony (1E78) and as a basis for constructed languages. It was also designed to show how a true alphanumeric* writing system looks and works.
12480 is not based upon phonemes, but rather upon binary. It achieves complete universality with an optimal amount of applications from its binary basis. A writing system based on phonemes will only last as long as the human voice is used. 12480's binary foundation will last as long as numbers exist.
* "Alphanumeric" is used here to describe the combination of an alphabet and a numeral system.
Notable features* 12480 is composed of various scripts, each of which could be considered a separate writing system on their own. Each script has its own specialities and advantages.
* Each script is used to represent either a word or a number by default. Visit www.12480.8m.com/scripts.html to see a list of what each script's default is.
* Each alphanumeric has both a consonant and a vowel assigned to it. They can be used interchangeably except for the initial phoneme--An initial consonant represents a word and an initial vowel represents a number.
* The punctuation is limited to break symbols, grouping symbols, and radix indicators, but it may be extended in future versions.
* Words are typically separated with a circle instead of a space. A space is used to group symbols in radixes lower than 16 into hexadecimal segments.
* 12480 is usually written from top to bottom and from left to right. A baseline underline is used to show how the text is oriented.Used to write
Binary (radix 2), quadnary (radix 4), hexadecimal (radix 16), radix 256, and all other numeral systems based on a power of two. Anything that can be expressed with a numeric value can be written using 12480.
